For the calculation of the arithmetic mean, salary must be considered the contribution salary to the Social Security, that is, the remuneration, which includes the totality of the income paid, due or credited during the month as retribution for the work, including tips, usual earnings in form of utilities, and advances resulting from salary readjustment, either for the services actually provided, or for the time available to the employer (see art. 5, §2 of Ordinance 10.486 / 2020 and art. 28, I, of Law 8,212 / 91).

ATTENTION

The company chose to reduce wages by a percentage different from that set by the Government for the allowance. In this case, the emergency allowance will respect the following percentages:

(a) reduction in working hours and wages of less than 25%, benefit paid by the government equal to 0:

(b) reduction in working hours and wages greater than or equal to 25% and lower than 50%, benefit paid by the government equal to 25% of the unemployment insurance;

(c) reduction in working hours and wages greater than or equal to 50% and lower than 70%, benefit paid by the government equal to 50% of the unemployment insurance; and

(d) reduction in working hours and wages equal to or greater than 70%, benefit paid by the government equal to 70% of the unemployment insurance;
